#rambling#nt rdr fans don't be ableist [CHALLENGE]#like yeah he's undoubtedly a narcissist (hashtag me too) but.#not for literally ANY of the reasons that you lot keep saying he is#he's not a narcissist because he's violent and awful and manipulative#he has an inflated sense of self-worth and obsesses over fantasies of power success and fortune#often expects people to do things for him without question#is very sensitive to stress#sets unrealistic goals#shows a need for admiration and respect#((which i suspect is part of why he grew so fond of micah))#and at times comes across as over-confident#THESE are narcissistic traits and they aren't inherently awful traits#he's a bad person because he's a bad person. because he chooses to be.#(for the sake of simplicity. i don't even actually believe in the idea of good or bad people. there's more nuance to it than that and#at times his generally preprehensible behaviour is done for good and justifiable reasons. it's complicated. HE's complicated.)
